Joshua Kennedy has been at Praise Tabernacle since June of 2004.
He is the Youth and Children Pastors. His primary gifting is Apostolic
and his heart beat is to equip believers as sent ones into the
world to fulfill the Great Commission.
His credentials are as followed:
- Completion of Discipleship Training School with Youth With a
Mission St. Croix, USVI - 1998.- Full-Time Pastor with Speak The Word Ministries of St. Croix,
USVI 1999-2004- Full-Time Pastor with Praise Tabernacle from 2004 to current.
- Director of Promised Land Equipping Center from 2008 to current.
- He has completed His bachelor's degree in Ministry with an Apostolic emphasis with Wagner Leadership Institute as of October 2011. He is currently working on his bachelors degree in Human Services emphasizing Community Development from Thomas Edison State College.
- Awarded the Chavda, Ghandi, King, Peace Award for Atlantic County in 2009
- Ordained as an Apostle by the elders of Praise Tabernacle along with Apostle Walt Healy & Jeff Beacham of Church of Grace & Peace, October 16th, 2011
- He is a member of Faith-Net USA which is a Apostolic Network providing accountability, credibility, and opportunity under the oversight of Walt Healy who is the Apostle of Church of Grace and Peace in Tom's River, NJ.
- He is a member of Christ Covenant Coalition under the care of Bishop Joseph Mattera of Resurrection Church in Brooklyn, NY which is a community of Christian leaders, churches and organizations committed to building authentic Christ-honoring relationships that transform individuals, families, and society.
- He is a board member of Stop The Violence and chair of the sub-committee Faith Initiative, which is a made up of highly distinguised individuals from each major sect of society in the Atlantic County region for the purpose of eliminating violence.
- He is also the South Jersey Rep for GenNet (Generations Network) which is a tri-generational, relational and organic community of those with like spirit and a high appreciation for the value of fathers, sons and daughters, and spiritual grandchildren interacting for advancing the Kingdom of God. The Vision of GenNet is to mentor, equip, encourage, empower and release the next generation of young emerging leaders in the Body of Christ.
Joshua Kennedy has been married since May 1998 to his beautiful wife Loraine who serves alongside him as the church administrator and is also pursuing her bachelor's degree in Psychology at Thomas Edison University. They have two amazing children Elisha born in 1999 and Israelborn in 2006.
